SVS ULTRA EVOLUTION
American manufacturer SVS has launched a new product line called Ultra Evolution and it is immediately the new flagship series. SVS states that these products represent the highest innovation in audio technology. They claim that the performance of this new line exceeds industry standards.
Perfect alignment
The Ultra Evolution line consists of seven all-new models: three floorstanding speakers, two monitor models, a three-way center speaker and an Ultra Elevation speaker for height effects and surround sound. According to SVS, the Ultra Evolution is the pinnacle of their loudspeaker design. Combining pioneering acoustic technologies with an unparalleled passion for sound quality, the press release states that this series sets the standard for the best speakers worldwide. At the heart of the SVS Ultra Evolution series is the innovative Time Alignment Architecture, which ensures maximum phase coherence and an accurate soundstage. As a result, every detail comes to life thanks to the perfect cooperation between the drivers and the cabinet architecture.
Airy treble
A notable feature of this series is the 1″ Diamond Coated Tweeter with Organic Cell Lattice Diffuser. This novelty for SVS delivers bright, airy treble and clean clarity. Thanks to advanced technologies, sound is reproduced accurately and lifelike. The Ultra Evolution’s sound characteristics are aligned with those of all other SVS Prime and original Ultra models, making it easy for users to mix and match a customized system. All speakers feature removable neodymium magnetic grilles. In addition, both elastomer bump feet and metal spike feet are available for the floor-standing models. The Ultra Evolution series includes three new floorstanding loudspeakers and two new monitor loudspeakers with similar design elements and form factors, but with different driver and cabinet sizes. Completing the series is a dedicated three-way center speaker and a versatile Ultra Elevation surround sound/Dolby Atmos speaker.
Deep bass
The Ultra Evolution series also excels at reproducing deep, powerful bass, made possible by the Force Balanced Opposed Woofer Array. The clever placement of the woofers creates a smooth transition between different frequency ranges, resulting in an immersive listening experience.
