Compact size
SVS designed the Prime bookshelf speaker specifically for 2-channel purists and home theater enthusiasts. Whatever your preference, the Prime Bookshelf speaker set is very good value for money and is the most flexible speaker in the Prime series. The enclosure features a stylish design with beveled edges on the front, ash-black or black finish and an overall size of 335 x 203 x 242 millimeters. For a more stylish look, you can also place the Prime Bookshelf speakers on the accompanying speaker stand.

Sound Performance
When you choose a 2-channel stand-alone sound setup, the Prime Bookshelf speakers deliver surprisingly full and rich sound reproduction. Or combine the speakers with the Prime or Ultra Center speakers, Prime Satellites and one of the many SVS subwoofers. The Prime Bookshelf features a 6.25-inch midrange/woofer driver made from materials such as fiberglass and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene. The propylene cone is characterized by its lightness and rigidity, creating a flat frequency response. Like all SVS Prime- and Ultra-series speaker drivers, the 6.25-inch woofer features an aluminum ring to prevent uneven sound.

The deep bass of the woofer is complemented by the treble of the 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter, creating an appropriate sound for such a 2-way speaker. The lightweight and rigid tweeter produces a high SPL (Sound Pressure Level) with minimal sound distortion, allowing the treble to disperse well in your listening room. Enjoy beautiful musical sound during your listening sessions and dive into your favorite movies or series with the rich and detailed audio reproduction. Because the Prime and Ultra series have the same driver techniques, all models combine well with each other.

Crossover
SVS has developed a number of exclusive components for the Prime series, including premium grade capacitors, air-core conductors and the heavy trace circuit boards. All these components are of very high quality and collectively contribute to lower noise distortion, tighter tolerance and heat dissipation. The 2-way crossover is tuned so that both drivers work together optimally with the best possible phase coherence and sharp timing.
