The new R_volution NAS offers optional full integration with ROON Server; ROON is one of the favorite applications for audiophiles around the world. Due to its ability to collect and identify all local music files and music services in HD streaming. In addition, the R_volution NAS and its high-security RAID storage system (up to 140 TB). It is the perfect place to store all your music files in GAPLESS and directly accessible through the ROON server.

M2 Storage
The new hard drive in the R_volution NAS, which includes the full software layer, changes to M2 format. The advantage is full integration into the motherboard. Without traditional data link cables, the new module suppresses the vibrations produced by the reader’s optics in the shift phase; this increases the reliability of the module’s storage capacity while combining performance up to 3,500 Mbps.

The R_volution NAS is designed from the ground up to reliably store movies and TV shows on a modern array of hard drives without compression or loss of quality. Designed and assembled in France (Europe), the R_volution NAS is highly scalable and able to continue operating even after a disk failure, without losing any content.

The movie database called R_DB contains data for more than 1,200,000 movie titles including DVD, Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, 4K UHD, and 2,000,000 CD albums from around the world.
As your collection grows, you can add additional disks to increase the storage capacity for your video and audio content. A single R_volution NAS provides storage capacity for up to 192,000 CDs, 19,200 DVDs, 3,200 Blu-ray or 1,600 4K UHD discs. Multiple R_volution NAS servers can be grouped into a single system to store thousands of video and music content.
The R_volution NAS provides fail-safe storage for your collection using professional disk storage technology called RAID-5. If a drive fails, data is automatically restored to the hot spare drive without losing any content. The failed disk is replaced without shutting down the server or disrupting ongoing playbacks.
The R_volution NAS delivers movies, audio and video content, over a standard residential network, simultaneously to R_volution players throughout the home. Once CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays and UHDs are stored on the R_volution NAS, they can be played directly on any R_volution player.
