Accurate switching between frame rates

Z20 PRO supports automatic and accurate switching between original resolution and frame rate (23,976,59,94,25,30,50 and 60). The new automatic switching algorithm makes it possible to complete film frame rate switching in advance to ensure smooth and integral film playback.

Stunning HDR technology

The new HDR processing engine can process static HDR10 metadata (MaxFall, MaxCII) more accurately. Color contrast is very sharp, both high lights and shadows can be rendered perfectly, allowing images to be rendered like real scenes. Meanwhile, the Z20 PRO offers an HDR-to-SDR algorithm that displays HDR movies very well on SDR devices via dynamic correction and color reproduction.

Higher level HDR10+

The Z20 PRO takes the lead by adding HDR10+ and Dolby Vision technology. HDR10+ technology can not only display peak brightnesses up to 4000 nits, but also process metadata accurately for each frame. In fact, colors and brightness levels are obtained frame by frame and scene by scene. Images can be displayed in detail with wide dynamic contrast and richer colors.

Dolby Vision VS10 technology

Integrated into the Z20 PRO is the Dolby Vision VS10 image engine, which supports Dolby Vision low latency (LLDV) output. Dolby Vision uses advanced dynamic metadata processing technology so that the most appropriate brightness can be output for images and scenes of each frame. Shadows are darker while highlights are brighter. Even in the dark and low light, the best visual effect can be displayed. Meanwhile, VS10 is a powerful engine, no matter the format (Dolby Vision, HDR, HLG, SDR, etc.) or the playback equipment, whether it is HDR output or SDR conversion, they can all maintain color accuracy and provide customers with a good experience. Even normal TVs can experience Dolby Vision technology

12-bit color depth

The new Z20 PRO image engine not only supports 10-bit (about 1.07 billion colors) decoding and output at 4K 60Hz resolution, but also supports higher color depth 12-bit (about 68 billion colors); 12-bit has vivid colors and natural color transition.

Wider color range

Z20 PRO supports BT.2020 wide color range that can display 75% natural colors and closer to what human eyes can see, while traditional BT.709 can only display 35% natural colors. It has bright and striking colors, rich and full images and a better sense of space, three dimensions and layering.

Android 11

Based on the in-depth development of Android 11, the system performance of the Z20 PRO has been greatly improved with better stability and compatibility. Masses of apps can be installed. DRM widevine L1 is also supported

Video formats and expandable storage

The Z20 PRO features a powerful player that supports BD/UHD Blu-ray (BDMV/ISO), 3DMVC (Blu-ray, MKV), MKV, M2TS, MTS, TS, MP4, MOV, AVI, MPG, MPEG, VOB, FLV, 3GP, TP etc. In addition, it can connect to disks and hard drives (up to 16TB). NFS and SMB services can be read in the same LAN.

Controller APP

ZDIOO Controller APP can control media players seamlessly in LAN. Home Theater and Music Player can be set to cell phone without suspending audio and video playback. Music can be played without turning on the device. And media players can be turned on and off without a remote control.
