Every aspect of the Prime Center is designed for to fulfill the most important role in the surround sound system and delivers sonic excellence. From the premium drivers to 3-way SoundMatch crossover technology. The construction is also of high-end quality with the extra-thick front baffle, internal bracing and the FEA-optimized tweeter diffuser for wide dispersion of treble. The 1-inch tweeter is light, rigid and efficient in playing crystal clear tones that distinguish well between different dialogues. Prime Driver & Tweeter Design
Center speakers process over 80% of all audio content, including dialog and vocals. Indeed, this percentage all falls within the midrange. To process all audio as optimally as possible without sound distortion, SVS has designed a light and rigid polypropylene cone for the midrange drivers. This creates a relatively flat frequency response that generates the necessary SPL to reproduce the right dynamic and lengthening sound. Furthermore, the midrange driver features a separate sealed compartment in the enclosure to prevent discoloration coming from the subwoofer. The 5.25-inch woofers are mounted in an ABS/fiberglass composite frame for precise alignment and sound reproduction that is vibration-free. A bass port is placed on the back of the center speaker for optimized extense of bass.

Geometric Design
The tapered edges on the front of the SVS Prime center speaker minimize diffraction at the edges. This creates a clear and accurate sound reproduction.
